Finally, a new Postcard!

I have been really bad about scanning and taking pics lately. I am usually so glad to be finished on time (or not too late...lol) and want to get things in the mail. Finally, I have a postcard to post. For some reason I just love this postcard. It is very simple, so it must be the colors. I like it so much that I am getting ready to make a matching fabric page for the monthly fabric page swap on Fabric in Altered Art. I may post it as well, depending on what I find to change it up a little.

Safari Fabric Postcard

This is my fabric postcard for the April fabric postcard swap on my Fabric in Altered Art Yahoo group. I had out several Africa/Safari themed fabrics along with a new piece that I had just purchased and just had to use it for something. I love both the theme and the colors on this postcard. I just received an Africa themed fabric book from our latest RR in the mail today. Good thing those fabrics are still out - along with some other fun ones!

Heart 2 Heart Postcards

These are the postcards that I have made so far for the Heart 2 Heart postcard project. The message on the back reads "thank you for your service to our country". The postcards will be sent to the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC in time for Valentines Day. There is still time to participate as long as the postcards are received in Houston for distribution by February 7. For more information please visit Heart-2-Heart Postcard Project.
